Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has called for collective efforts to deal with adverse effects of climate change.
Addressing 3rd Pakistan Climate Conference organized by Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Karachi, he said Pakistan is one of the most affected countries by climate change.
Syed Murad Ali Shah said devastating floods have plunged us into an economic and social crisis.
He called for collective efforts to deal with adverse effects of climate change.
The CM Sindh said that climate change is the biggest challenge of this era.
He said that increasing of temperature and uptick in the sea level are matter of concerned.
Syed Murad Ali Shah said that climate change has brought destruction and harm.
Reducing the effects of the climate change there is a need to focus on tree plantation, he said.
