LAHORE: The Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced Rs.100 million for national hero gold medalist Arshad Nadeem.
Maryam Nawaz has announced Rs.100 million rewards for Paris Olympics men’s javelin throw gold medalist Arshad Nadeem, she also announced the construction of Arshad Nadeem Sports City in Mian Channu.
The Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal on the eve of Independence and gave a gift to the nation.
“Making a new record in the Olympics is proof of Arshad Nadeem’s hard work, dedication, and national spirit,” she said. “May Allah bless every son and daughter who raises the flag of Pakistan in the world,” Punjab CM said.
The governor Punjab Sardar Salim Haider Khan also announced a Rs0.2 million reward for Arshad Nadeem He congratulated Arshad Nadeem for creating a new record in javelin throw.
