Karachi: Sindh government has taken a revolutionary measure for bringing improvement in the department of police as Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday, today, inaugrated a model police station Shahra-e-Faisal.
Home Minister Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar, Inspector General (IG) Police Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho and other police officers were present at the occasion.
The CM Sindh apprised that he has released funds for establishing the model police station in every district of the province.
Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the provincial government is taking revolutionary initiatives for implementing law system.
He said that as many as Rs 288.401 million has been allocated for 31 model police stations.
The CM apprised further that as many as Rs 62 million has been released for eight police stations of Karachi.
Whereas Rs 90 million for Hyderabad and Rs 28. 958 million for Mir Purkhas police range, he informed.
He informed that Rs 30 million each allocated for Shaheed Benazirabad and Sukkur while Rs 47. 423 million allocated for Larkana.
Buildings of model police station will be Renovated and designed while formal lock-up, reception and family area will be available, the CM apprised.
