Islamabad: A big reduction expected in the petroleum products for next fortnightly starting from February 16.
It is likely that petrol process will depreciate by Rs 2. 50 per litre while the decrease in the petroleum products will be par reduction in crude oil in the international market.
On the other hand, high speed diesel price likely to reduce by Rs 9.11 per litre.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will send its recommendation over change in the prices to the Finance Ministry.
Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will give final approval for the prices.
In the last fortnightly the government had increased petrol price Rs 1 to Rs 257.13 and Rs seven on high speed diesel per litre to 267.95.
