RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has vowed to ensure effective management to prevent cross border movement, saying that operations on intelligence information will be continued for peace and stability.
According to ISPR, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visited South and North Waziristan. Army Chief reviewed operations continued under comprehensive plan for restoration of temporarily displaced persons in FATA and Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He also inaugurated 72 kilometer Miran Shah, Rizmik, Makeen Highway connecting to South and North Waziristan.
On this eve, Army Chief said that FATA development is included in priorities, adding that IDPs return and restoration work will be completed this year, whereas Army will not return until completion of its work.
