ISLAMABAD: Shallow westerly wave is present over southern parts of the country.
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain (with snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Kalat, Quetta and Zhob divisions.Cloudy weather with light rain/drizzle is also expected in Makran coast including Karachi during night. Foggy conditions are likely in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.
In past 24 hours, weather remained very cold and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain (with snowfall over the hills) occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions and Kashmir while at a few places in Murree and Islamabad.
