Islamabad (February 13, 2018): Federal Minister for Information Maryam Aurangzeb on Tuesday said that the people of Pakistan had rejected the politics of instigation, lies in Lodhran bye-polls and the entire country is witnessing as to how this disqualification is converting into a qualification.
Talking to media outside accountability court, Aurangzeb said that the Lodhran election is the first moon 0f 2018 general elections where people had rejected the politics of lie.
She sad that the Lodhran vote had confirmed that the people would now only vote for those who had worked for them.
“It should now be understandable as to for whom masses would vote either for the one who had brought CPEC or who were on containers, either for the one who eliminated terrorism or who attacked the parliament,” she said.
She said that the win in Lodhran elections were due to the fulfillment of the development promises made by the Nawaz Sharif.
“Nawaz Sharif will also fulfill the promise of reviving the sanctity of the vote and justice,” she said adding that the entire country was standing alongside Nawaz Sharif.
