A.J.KASHMIR: The General Council of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit has unanimously reappointed Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan as the party’s Ameer for a second consecutive term.
During the council meeting, Dr. Khan received the majority of votes and was officially chosen to lead Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir for the period of 2026 to 2029. The election process was concluded with the formal announcement by Qazi Shahid Hameed Advocate, the Secretary of the Election Committee.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Khan thanked the party workers and council members for their continued trust and confidence. He committed to furthering the party’s objectives and enhancing its organizational and political efforts throughout his new tenure.
