Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJ), Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali on Tuesday (today) taking suo motu notice on police officers postings in Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) issued notice to attorney general of Pakistan.
The CJ has taken suo motu notice of postings of police officers in the FIA in violation of code of conduct, while a three member bench in chair of chief justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali will commence hearing from July 14 on the matter.
Sources said that the CJ has taken the suo motu notice on an appeal of the FIA officers. The FIA officers appealed that the FIA is a technical investigation agency and posting of police officers in the agency disturbing careers of the FIA officers.
The court also sought reply from the government after issuing notice to attorney general of Pakistan.
