2nd ODI: England Set 374-run Target For Pakistan

SOUTHAMPTON: England’s all top order batsmen were among the runs as they piled up a huge total of 373 runs for three wickets against Pakistan in the second One-day International here on Saturday.

Sent into bat by Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed, Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow laid a solid foundation with a 115-run stand.

However, the star of the English batting was JC Buttler who smashed 110 runs innings which was envisaged with nine mighty sixes and six fours.

J Ropy 87, Barshaw 51 and Morgan’s 71 on 48 balls helped England to place a huge total.

Shahin Shah Afridi, Hassan Ali and Yasir Shah each grabbed a wicket but giving away piles of runs.
