Atif Aslam Donates Rs2.5 Million to Dam Fund

Islamabad (September 10, 2018): One of the top singers of the country, Atif Aslam has donated a  whooping Rs2.5 million to the dam fund.

Atif Aslam, who is known for his songs in Pakistan and beyond, met Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar at his official residence in Islamabad and handed over cheque of Rs2.5 million.Earlier yesterday, Pakistan umpire Aleem Dar also announced that he is going to contribute $10,000 to the CJP-PM dam fund.

He said in a video message, ‘“I have decided to contribute $10,000 for the dams fund initiative’.

Previously,  actress Babra Sharif has donated Rs1 million to Diamer and Mohmand dam fund, while legendary cricketer Javed Miandad announced to auction off a ball used in the final of World Cup 1992 to raise funds for construction of new dams in the country.
