Baber Azam’s father thankful to God over his son reappointment as Pakistan Team captain

Lahore: Father of Pakistani cricket team captain Baber Azam, Azam Siddiuqe thanked to Almighty over appointment of his son captain of the cricket team in a social media post on Instagram.

Azam Siddique said that we conduct prostration in gratitude that Baber got captaincy again and the biggest among all that the government gave him respect and it is also included in the blessings of God Almighty.

He said that now it is heard that the team will be agreed and he urged his son to forget what happened in the past.

Azam Siddique not only talked about his son only but he specially talked about Muhammad Amir and Imad Waseem, who withdrew their retirement decisions, he apprised that he told his son that Amir and Imad are elder then you and seniors as well and meet them as a younger person and give them respect from heart and respect their opinion.

He said that lot of the people are saying that it will not be happened but if God willing it will be happened as the God is merciful and gracious and the owner of the all the resources adding this is God who molds heart solid and soft with the condition you have right intentions and lastly he said Long Live Pakistan!

It is pertinent to mention here that Baber Azam had tendered his resignation from his captaincy from all three formats over poor performance in the World Cup last year on November 15.

Shaheen Shah Afridi has been made T-20 captain and Shan Masoon given the charge of the test team after the resignation of Baber Azam.

Shaheen led the side only against New Zealand in T-20 series in which Pakistan lost the series by 4-1. But after only a series he was removed from the captain-ship.
