According to the foreign Media Reports, A bill has been approved in the United States of America to limit the use of social media by children, after which children under the age of 14 will not be able to create pages on Facebook.
Florida Governor Ron Desantis has welcomed a bill banning social media pages for children under 14 and allowing 14 to 15 year olds to create social media pages with parental permission.
He said that due to social media, children suffer from depression and self-harm and sometimes even commit suicide. Florida’s governor said the bill would curb children’s access to pornographic websites and give parents the ability to protect their children, he said that the law is expected to be implemented on January 1, 2025.
Remember that the Florida Provincial Assembly approved a bill on January 25 to restrict the use of social media for children under the age of 16 without parental consent. The bill was vetoed because the rights of parents were violated.
