The K-Electric management has assured the provincial government that it will exempt load shedding during iftar and sehar and reduced overall load shedding hours.
A meeting in chair of Chief Minister (CM) Sindh with management of K-Electric was held on Wednesday (today).
The meeting was attended by provincial minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, principal secretary, Elm-udding Billu, Energy secretary, Agha Wasif, CEO of K-Electric Taeeb Tareen and chiefs of generation, distribution.
Sources said that the CM was briefed on load-shedding situation in the metropolis and on water board installations. The management of K-Electric has assured the chief minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah that no load-shedding will be carried out during sehar and iftar in the city as well as over all load-shedding will be reduced while load-shedding will not be carried out on water board pumping stations.
