Web Desk (June 20, 2018): Hussain Nawaz, son of former PM, Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday while speaking to the reporters requested the nation to pray for his mother’s health and added that Kulsoom will be on the ventilator for an indefinite period, said those creating confusions about the health of my mother, are hurting us, he added.
Hussain Nawaz said his mother is on the ventilator, she sacrificed for democracy in the country, people who are creating speculations are hurting us, he added.

Earlier, doctors and the Sharif family were unable to come to a decision regarding the removal of ventilator support of Begum Kulsoom, the wife of former Pakistani premier Nawaz Sharif, who was shifted to intensive care late Thursday after a cardiac arrest.
While speaking to media about Begum Kulsoom’s critical condition outside the hospital earlier on Sunday, Hussain Nawaz, Sharif’s elder son, said his mother was “unconscious”.

The doctors are making every possible effort to help Begum Kulsoom recover, he said, adding that he hoped that his mother would get better quickly.
“InshAllah, her health will improve soon,” Hussain said.
In his comment to reporters, while leaving the clinic, Nawaz said Begum Kulsoom was still unconscious and on the ventilator. He said he was praying to Allah for her quick recovery.

The wife of former premier was re-admitted to the hospital on Wednesday. She was taken to emergency unit last night as her condition deteriorated.
Begum Kulsoom was rushed to the ICU where she collapsed as she suffered a cardiac arrest.
