KARACHI: Counter-Terrorism Department on Saturday arrested two alleged target killers in an operation against the criminal elements within the metropolis.
According to DIG Abdullah Sheikh, an alleged target killer of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) named Faisal Patni alias burger who is allegedly involved in the murder of three people from 2009 to 2011 was arrested from Karachi’s Baldia Town area.
Another alleged terrorist named Mushtaq Ahmed who is an active member of separatist militant outfit JSQM was apprehended in another operation by the police. He is involved in supplying explosives for cracker blasts over railway tracks, added DIG CTD.
On the other hands, police have also arrested four members of a robber gang from Surajni town area of the Karachi. A case has been registered against the robbers and police have started its investigation from the nabbed suspects
