“By appearing before the JIT, I and PM served the interests of rule of law which demonstrates that how much the elected politicians have respect for law and courts,” he added.

“On the contrary, the attitude of those, who toppled government on gun points, towards law and constitution is before everyone,” he added.

“I did not rushed to Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology in response to JIT summon rather appeared before the JIT and present my stance with due respect,” he added.

He added that he had backache problem for a long time but did not try to make it an excuses to avoid appearing before the JIT.

“This is not the first time Sharif family’s accountability was being carried out rather it was started from 1972 with the seizure of Ittefaq Foundry,” he added.
