Peshawar: Earthquake jolted in several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and twin cities of Punjab Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Thursday evening.
People of the affected areas came out of their houses in the fear with reciting Kalma Tayaba.
The areas where tremors were felt included Kohat, Chitral, Lower Dir, Dir Bala, Balakot, Sawat, Dir, Peshawar, Malakand.
Besides that the earthquake jolted in the various areas of North Waziristan as well.
The intensity of earthquake recorded 5.3 at the Richter scale while its epicenter was border area between Afghanistan and Tajikistan, seismology center apprised.
The earthquake depth was 86 km deep while it was felt at 3:56 pm Pakistan Standard time.
