Peshawar: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has postponed Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The decision to this effect was taken by the Provincial Election Commissioner on request of the opposition.
A statement issued by the ECP said the Commission while exercising its powers as enshrined in the constitution and the law, has decided to postpone the Senate election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa till the administration of oath to the members returned against the reserved seats.
