Islamabad (October 2, 2017): The Electoral Reform Bill 2017 has been tabled in National Assembly amid opposition parties, particularly Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) ruckus.
The government wanted to get pass the bill as soon as possible so that way for Nawaz Sharif as PML-N party head can be cleared.
The law minister Zahid Hamid table the bill.
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq did not allow PTI parliamentary leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi to speak out of agenda that enraged the PTI lawmakers and they made the session noisy after chanting slogans.
Opposition torn the copies of the agenda and chanted slogans against the bill.
