FAISALABAD: A local laborer in Faisalabad working on Rs 400 daily wages shocked when he found that Rs one billion transacted from its accounts as he received 210 million rupees income tax notice from Federal Board of Revenue.
Waseem who worked on Tika KabbaB hotel and used to receive Rs 400 as daily wages, received income tax notice from FBR over the transaction of Rs one billion from his accounts.
Over not paying the income tax of the mammoth transaction the FBR also arrested the poor laborer.
Family members of Waseem said that they lived in rented house adding that they did not even open the account in the bank and they never ever thought of one billion rupees even in their dreams.
The FBR stating its point of view said that two accounts were opened on the name of Waseem in two different banks and conducted fraud with various people and transacted as many as one billion rupees.
