Havelian plane crash:23 bodies transferred to Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: As many as 23 bodies out of 47 have been shifted to Islamabad and after DNA the bodies will be handed over to families.

Army helicopters have transferred 23 bodies out of 47 to Pakistan institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad that killed in the plane crash near Havelian. For the DNA verification, families have provided blood sample to the hospital to identify their loved one while renowned preacher and Naat Khuwan, former singer Junaid Jamshaid’s younger brother also submitted blood sample to identify body of his brother.

Before this, only five bodies were identified in Ayub Medical Complex of who three were belonged to Chitral, one belonged to Faisalabad and Rawalpindi.

On the other side PIA has announced half million compensation money family members of each dead person of the plane crash. PIA has provided free ticket facility to arrive Islamabad for family members who lost their loved ones in the tragic plane crash.
