Karachi (August 23, 2017): Heavy downpour followed by thunderstorm and lightning have disrupted life and plunged almost 90 per cent areas into dark of Metropolitan on Tuesday.
At least 19 people killed in various rain related incidents since rain started yesterday, Monday .
The heavy rain being continued in different parts of the city as the power outage put the several areas in dark. The traffic mess was also reported at main thoroughfares- Shahrae Faisal, MA Jinnah Road- and long queues of vehicle witnessed even in various arteries.

Thunderstorm and loud lightning has spread fear among the people and most of them kept themselves in homes.
Rain has also disrupted the makeshift cattle markets set up in various parts of the city and they were enforced to shift safe havens.
Met office forecast more rain tonight and the spell will continue tomorrow.
