Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court on Monday suspended sentences of founding chairman of Pakistan Thereek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the toshakhana case.
A two member divisional bench of the IHC headed by Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Gul Hassan Aurangzaib heard the appeals against the toshakhana punishments.
The court said that hearing on the central appeals will be conducted after Eid Ul Fitr.
It is merit to mention that an accountability court had awarded 14 years each imprisonment to Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the toshakhana case.
The both have filed appeals against the sentence of the AC.
