ISLAMABAD: The senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Khursheed Shah on Tuesday alleged that prime minister Imran Khan is being used only as a shield as government’s claims to not lend loans proved wrong.
“Government claims to break lending bowl but he seems to fail in its promises and lending loans where it comes from,” Shah said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad.
Pointing out skyrocketing price hike, Shah said that the people were crying and screaming over mounting inflation even before the budget.
Former opposition leaders said that it was the sole government which had issued amnesty scheme only for thieves.
“We should trust in unity and harmony rather power as the opposition will not allow the government to burden the people with an artificial price hike,” he said adding that government should make sure the expression of freedom.
Shah mentioned that despite the failure of the government armed forces should not support government openly as it showed Imran Khan being used as a shield. He said that if ministers raise the issues of reforms in Madressahs it would be more better as armed forces should avoid interfering in the government’s domain.
