Islamabad (August 07, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and the premier-in-waiting, Imran Khan, after assuming the office, likely to visit the United States to address the United Nations General Assembly session next month, said sources.
According to the details, Imran Khan will leave for the US in mid of September and for the first time, he will address the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.
On the sideline of UN General Assembly session, Imran will meet US high-ups during the visit, the sources said and added that the PTI chief will take US officials into confidence over the change in Pakistan and different aspects of the new foreign policy.
Bilateral cooperation, removal of Pakistan’s name from FATF grey list, new foreign policy, matters of mutual interest and other issues will come under discussion during the US visit.
Imran Khan will highlight Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir in his address to UN Generally Assembly session.
The PTI Chief will meet the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin, China’s President Xi Jinping, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and others during the visit.
