NEW DELHI: Indian Foreign Office on Wednesday summoned Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner to India Haider Shah and demanded details about the case of convicted Indian RAW officer Kulbhushan Jadhav.
According to Indian media, the Deputy HC was summoned he was demanded details about the RAW officer, which was recently convicted by a military court in Pakistan for involvement in terrorists activities in Balochistan and Karachi.
The media reports said that the Indian government had decided to file appeal against Kulbhushan Jadhav’s conviction in Pakistan court.
The reports said that India High Commissioner to Pakistan is expected to meet Pakistan Foreign Secretary Tahmina Janjua. As per the reports, he will request for consular access to Jadhav.
