ISLAMABAD: Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia meeting with Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav has concluded after Pakistan granted consular access to him in accordance with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) verdict on July 17.
Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia meeting with Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav was held a sub-jail in Islamabad which continued for two hours while an officer of Pakistan foreign office was also present at the occasion.
Sources said that the spy meeting with his country diplomat was held in a strict security.
According to sources, Indian envoy arrived at Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Monday ahead of the consular meeting with Jadhav, who is being held on charges of espionage and terrorism.
Ahluwalia held a meeting with spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal and received schedule regarding consular access.
On September 1, Pakistan announced that it would provide consular access to Jadhav in line with the Vienna Convention and the July 17 verdict of the ICJ.
