MQM-P Leaders Criticize PPP, PML-N During Public Gathering

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) have criticized Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) during its gathering, alleging the parties of enraging annihilation upon the country.

On Saturday, MQM-P flexed its political muscle as it held a public gathering in Karachi’s Bagh-e-Jinnah Ground with the party’s prominent leaders in attendance.

Senior MQM-P leader Khalid Maqbool took the stage by a storm, lashing out at PPP and PML-N and those bodies which ‘imposed Quota system’.

“Pakistan was thriving before 1970 before being stuck with the disease, namely PPP. The country was first broken and then conspiracies of its destruction were devised”, Khalid Maqbool said.

Recalling Pakistan’s independence from Sub-continent, he said, “We were Fortunate to get freedom, but unfortunate when it comes to value it. We sacrificed 20 thousand lives to attain [freedom]. Migration at such big-scale was never seen taking place in history before it”.

Another MQM-P leader Faisal Sabzwari addressed the gathering at the party’s historic ground. He claimed that MQM is not battling against any ‘current enemy’, but it is going to face-off against those bodies which have polluted the country in all ways.

“Fake election results were showed to the public and said that Karachi has been cleaned with MQM. We see annihilators of our country as our enemy. Some people doubted the patriotic people of the country”, Faisal Sabzwari maintained.

“PPP worsened the scenarios in the federal as well as the province. Those who formed the constitution have made it impossible to make a province”, he added.
