NAB Striving To Take Mega Corruption Cases To Logical Conclusion; Chairman

ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has categorically said that the anti-corruption body is striving to take mega corruption cases to the logical conclusion.

Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal in his statement regarding the performance of the anti-graft body said that the NAB has submitted a huge total of 326 billion rupees to national exchequer since its inception.

The graft-buster body head said that anti-corruption watchdog body has filed 600 cases in accountability courts in the last 20 months and recovered an amount of Rs 71 billion in the same period.

He said that the recovery of the looted amount from the corrupt elements is the main purpose of the body while white-collar crimes of mega corruption cases are the priority of the NAB.

The NAB is trying to take the mega corruption cases to its logical conclusion.
