ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi has instructed the players to focus on the game and highlighted the importance of unity for achieving success on the field.
According to sources, Mohsin Naqvi discussed the ongoing fitness camp and the upcoming series with the players. Mohsin Naqvi instructed all the players to keep their focus on the game, Chairman PCB directed that there should not be any grouping in the team, everyone should play as a team.
According to the sources, Mohsin Naqvi said that they are hiring foreign coaches to develop the skills of the players, matters have been settled with 2 foreign coaches, a formal announcement will be made in the next two days, Mohsin Naqvi said that all the decisions related to the national team will be based on merit, nobody’s dictation will be taken.
As per sources Mohsin Naqvi said that the decision to appoint Babar Azam as the captain was made on the advice of the selection committee. The Pakistan Cricket Board’s job is to provide facilities for the players. Will definitely play, no one’s recommendation will be accepted
