PCB Demands ICC To Take Action Against Indian Team For Wearing Army Caps

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ahsan Mani on Sunday demanded International Cricket Council (ICC) to take strict action against Indian cricket team who played a match against Australia wearing army caps.

Talking to media in Karachi, PCB chairman Ahsan Mani informed that he has talked to the ICC over the Indian military cap issue.

The PCB chairman apprised further that he has written a letter to the ICC over Indian Cricket Board war gesture and demanded action against the Indian team while he will also write another letter to the ICC.

Ahsan Mani said that the ICC knew Pakistan position adding that Indian twice a time made cricket target of politics which created a bad image for India.

He said that the ICC took action against Moeen Ali and Imran Tahir in the past and now it should take action against the Indian team as well.

Over a query regarding the restoration of cricket in the country, the PCB chairman said that purpose to bring security experts is to brief them over security situation of the country.

He has received positive feedback so far from all sides, he added.
