LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to remove Azhar Ali from captaincy after the worst performance by the national cricket team in the ODI series against England.
Sources said that PCB decided to appoint Sarfraz Ahmed as the skipper of ODI team. The board is considering to appoint Azhar Ali as captain of the Test team, if Misbah-ul-Haq announces retirement before March 2017.
The sources said that Azhar Ali will be removed form captaincy after the Australia tour.
