ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says presenting a people and poor friendly budget is the top priority of the government.
Addressing a news briefing in Islamabad on Sunday, she said the upcoming budget will be the first financial document of the PTI government prepared to ensure a sustainable economy. She said the budget will present a long term way forward to set economic goals for the next five years.
The Special Assistant said that despite economic challenges, the government is not ignorant of the country’s defence needs.
