Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to review performance of Pakistani diplomatic staff deputed abroad over complaints of overseas Pakistanis.
For the purpose a composite plan based on judging performance indicators of diplomatic staff will be made while PM has directed to take practical measures for improving foreign missions and its staff.
The PM has directed the foreign ministry to prepare action plan within 20 days under which performance rating of the diplomatic staff will be measured.
A report will be presented to the premier after every four months while those who will not show performance will be called back to the country after ending their appointment immediately.
It is pertinent to mention here that the overseas Pakistanis and business community had complained to the premier of lack of cooperation by the foreign diplomatic staff.
