PESHAWAR: The police was put on high alert across Peshawar following two attacks on police within two hours in the provincial capital.
As per details, police was targeted in two different areas of the Peshawar within two hours.
In the first incident, police mobile was targeted through a remote control device near Karkhano market. However, no casualty was reported in the blast. A bus was partially damaged.
The second attack was carried out targeting DSP Chamkani Abdul Salam’s vehicle on Northern Bypass. The attack was carried out through remote-controlled device. However, the DSP escaped the attack unhurt.
After the blast, police was put on high alert in the city. Police registered FIRs of both the attacks.
