LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will call on ailing former premier Nawaz Sharif today at Kot Lakhpat Jail.
Punjab’s home department on Saturday had accepted Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s request to let him meet with the detained former premier at Kot Lakhpat Jail here on Saturday.
The PPP chairman will be accompanied by Qamar Zaman Kaira, Mustafa Nawaz Khokar and Jameel Soomro during the Kot Lakhpat visit.
According to sources, the PPP chairman will visit the Kot Lakhpat Jail today where he will inquire about the health of former premier Nawaz Sharif.
Earlier on Saturday Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had written to the Punjab government’s home department seeking permission to see Nawaz in Jail to inquire about his health.
On Friday, the chairman PPP has also expressed his concerns over Nawaz’s health on his twitter handle.
