ISLAMABAD: Vice-President of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Senator Sherry Rehman has condemned the registration of FIRs against the opposition party workers who took part in the black day protest in Punjab yesterday.
Vice-President of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Senator Sherry Rehman vehemently expressing condemnation against the lodging of FIR’s against the political workers over their participation in the black day protest, she said that Imran Khan had announced to provide containers to protestors while FIRs have been lodged over the protest today.
She informed that the government has registered the FIRs against 58 workers over the protest they made yesterday on the occasion of the black day.
Sherry Rehman also condemned the registration of FIRs against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif and her party Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira.
She said that the registration of cases against the participants of peaceful protest that Imran Khan has a fear of mass protest.
