Peshawar (March 10, 2018): The head of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq supporting the Raza Rabbani as joint Senate chairman candidate said that the next chairman Senate should be elected unanimously and Raza Rabbani will be the best option.
Addressing to JI consultative meeting in Peshawar, JI Ameer said that all parties should be agreed on Raza Rabbani name as agreement on his name will help to minimize political tension.
Commenting over the horse trading Siraj said, “SC should call the newly elected senators and their part heads including Imran Khan, Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif and Fazalur Rehman and after taking oath they should be asked over the trading of their votes,” he said adding that such senators who made trading of their vote how can serve the people.
He mentioned that KP was bearing terrorism war for several years, province has given sheltered millions of Afghan refugees and it has been facing heaps of issues for fifteen years, however despite rendering sacrifices KP was not given its due share.
“KP is not given profit of electricity and despite generating most portion of the power but is effected most of load shedding ,” he said.
Siraj Telephones to Rabbani
Earlier he telephone former chairman Senate Raza Rabbani and lauded his services for the Senate and also discussed the upcoming chairman Senate polls.
“The Raza Rabbani style and performance has inspired even opponents as he has served the country with honestly and without any corruption,” he said adding that his life was best example for other parliamentarians.
Siraj mentioned that if the unanimous candidate has not presented then there would be increased in political crisis.
