ISLAMABAD: Federal Defence Minister Parvez Khattak on Friday said that the Speaker will be guarded against the attacks of opposition parties and asked the opposition to refrain from attacking the speaker.
In a debate over 26th amendment, the Federal Defence Minister Parvez Khattak said that whenever the National Assembly speaker will be attacked they will come forward to defend him.
On 26th amendment he said that the once no go area is now in the control of the government. The step would have taken in the PPP rule but pushed under the table. He also assured that the government will put its best efforts for the development of the newly merged FATA districts.
