LAHORE: Punjab’s Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar will chair a meeting of the Punjab cabinet on a 26-point agenda on Thursday (today).
During the meeting, the bill regarding the safety of the witnesse act 2018 will be tabled.
Moreover, the provincial cabinet is also expected to give go-ahead for temporary funds for thermal power project while the issue of amendments in electronic stamp papers rules will also be contemplated.
The report of the auditor general 2016-17 regarding the performance of the Punjab government is also part of the agenda while the meeting will deliberate on sales tax on services act 2012 and will approve the regularity measures to halt dengue in the province.
The Punjab growth strategy will also be tabled before the cabinet members.
Furthermore, draft for the Punjab health foundation act 2018 will also come under discussion in the meeting.
