KARACHI: Police confirmed that weapons recovered from former Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Faisal Raza Abidi were legal and said that the arms never used in any crime.
Police spokesman said the weapons recovered from Abdi’s house were legal. He said the two licenced Kalashnikovs belonged to Abdi’s brothers. While G-3 and MP-5 guns belonged to government guards.
It is pertinent to mention here that Faisal Raza Abidi was taken into custody last night over suspicion of sectarian killings.
