LAHORE: Former National Assembly speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has tested for the coronavirus after many of his party leaders also contracted it.
Ayaz Saddiq has isolated himself after his test came positive.
Maryam Aurangzaib, the party spokesman, who is also in isolation as she tested for the coronavirus, confirmed that he quarantined himself on his home.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ayaz Sadiq was very active in his constituency and visited it many times while he was also active in the distribution of ration to the needy and other welfare works.
Many leaders of the PML-N are in isolation after being tested positive for the virus which included party president Shahbaz Sharif, secretary general Ahsan Iqbal, ex-premier Shahid khaqan Abbassi and Maryam Aurangzaib.
