Islamabad (June 15, 2017): As the Prime Minister is scheduled to appear before the joint investigation team (JIT) today, extra ordinary security arrangements have been made and Rangers personnel took up security ditties around the Federal Judicial Academy.
The Prime Minister will appear before the JIT today at Federal Judicial Academy, which is being used as secretariat of the JIT, at 11:00am.

It is for the first time in the history of the country that a sitting Prime Minister is appearing before such a panel.
Strict security arrangements at and around the Academy have been made.
The employees of the Academy are allowed to enter the building only after passing through walk-through gates installed at the entrance of the Academy.
On Thursday morning, Inspector General Police Islamabad Khalid Khattak visited FJA and reviewed security arrangements being made for the day.
SSP Operation Islamaabd Police Sajjid Kyani also viisted the Academy and reviewed security inside of the building.
On the other hand, SSP Security and SSP Traffic also visited the FJA to oversee the security and traffic arrangements being made for the historic day.
It is to be mentioned here besides Prime Minister, the JIT has also summoned Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for June 17, Prime Minister’s son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar for June 24 and former Interior Minister and PPP leader Rehman Malik for June 23.
