Karachi (October 26, 2018): The disgruntled senior leader of MQM-P Farooq Sattar reiterated his demand holding of the intra-party poll and alleged the party constitution was tarnished during the allotment of election tickets.
Addressing press conference in Karachi, Farooq demanded that MQM should be restored on its 1986 position and all the workers should also be reinstated on their original slots.He announced the 22-member committee to pull the party out of the crisis.
“At the time of awarding ticket the party constitution was violated and the tickets were issued to the favourites and rich persons as Rabita Committee members were also selected on like and dislike basis,” he alleged.
Targeting senior party leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar said that few people had held the entire party hostage.
He sent message a to party leaders, “We are not angry from anyone and no one try to approach us to remove our reservation.”
