Islamabad: The Federal government has imposed ban on single use plastic items in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
According to a notification issued in this regard, the items include polythene bags, drinking straws, cutlery crockery, food service-ware and stirrers.
All federal government departments have been directed to strictly enforce the ban while the Prime Minister Office and Cabinet division have already implemented it.
