Islamabad: New petition has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the petitions filed against the 26th constitutional amendment.
The Lahore High Court Bar has filed a separate petition to constitute a full court.
It has been argued in the miscellaneous petition that the case of 26th Constitutional Amendment is of utmost importance, Constitutional Amendment cases were heard by the Full Court in the past as well.
The petition said that the petitions against the 26th Constitutional Amendment should be set aside for the constitution of the Full Court.
The miscellaneous petition also asked that the full court should include all the judges who were part of the Supreme Court at the time of the constitutional amendment.
