Islamabad (June 16, 2017): Spokesman of Punjab government Malik Ahmed Khan has met Minister State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb in Islamabad on Friday.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to package announced by the Prime Minister for promotion of film industry and welfare of artists were discussed.
Talking on the occasion, the Minister of State said that film industry is an effective tool to highlight the culture and soft identity of the country. She said elimination of sense of disappointment from the minds of the nation is our target, adding that the revival of film industry will provide good entertainment opportunities to people.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said Prime Minister Fund will be established to assist broadcasting industry and foreign film makers will also be provided all facilities in the country.
Spokesman of Punjab government Malik Ahmed Khan on the occasion said film production is an effective medium to project counter terrorism narrative.
