First lady urges collective action to safeguard children’s rights

ISLAMABAD: Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, the First Lady of Pakistan, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among all stakeholders to safeguard children and declared child protection a shared national obligation.

In a statement emphasizing the significance of protecting young lives, she highlighted that investing in children is crucial for building a prosperous future for Pakistan. She also called for children’s voices to be included in policymaking processes that impact their well-being, asserting that childhood protection is a matter of fundamental rights and justice rather than charity.
