Former Finance Minister Sartaj Aziz Pass away.

NOWSHERA: Pakistan Muslim League-N leader and former foreign and finance Minister Sartaj Aziz have passed away.

Former Foreign and Finance Minister Sartaj Aziz passed away. Ahsan Iqbal of PML-N has said in his Twitter message that Sartaj Aziz was an asset to the nation and his services will always be remembered. May Allah grant him a place in Jannat al-Firdous. He was one of the leaders of Tehreek-e-Pakistan.

Ahsan Iqbal has said that “He will be missed very much,” Iqbal said and added that the former foreign minister’s services for the nation would always be remembered. “I had honour of working with him very closely and will never forget his affection and guidance. May Allah Bless his soul and Grant patience to the family Ameen.”  Sartaj Aziz was born in 1929 in a Pashtun Kakakhel family in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In the 1940s, Aziz was a young activist in the Muslim League-led Pakistan movement. Aziz was educated at Islamia College of Lahore and then obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Punjab University in 1949.
